•Android 10 out of the box
I am going to divide this review between the Pro’s and Con’s of the device.
First let us take a look at Pro’s of the device.

PRO’S

Design & Build Quality

Samsung S10 Lite has a dimension of 162.5×75.6×8.1 mm and weight’s about 186 gram.  The phone has galas to its front and the back of the Phone is made out of glasstic which is a mixture of glass and plastic. The protection towards the front glass is however not mentioned by Samsung. However the glasstic used in Samsung S10 Lite is a fingerprint magnet.  There is triple camera towards the back which is placed in a square grid. The doesn’t hold too much on the rectangular grid so it’s not a great issue. The volume rockers and power button are present towards the right hand side of the phone. The button’s are of fine quality and there is no issues with reach. Towards the left hand side we have the sim tray. Samsung Note 10 lite support hybrid sim slot, that is you can use either two sim at a time or one sim and a micro SD card. The Samsung S10 Lite unfortunately lacks the headphone jack. The phone has Type C usb and single firing speaker towards the bottom. Samsung S10 Lite is available in three colours Prism white, Prism black and Prism Blue.

Display

Samsung S10 Lite has a massive 6.7 inch Super Amoled display with a screen to body ratio of 87.8% and a pixel per Inch density of 394 ppi. Samsung has gone with the infinity O panel with minimum bezzels. The colours are punchy and provide us a great viewing experience. Viewing angles are great and when it comes to visibility under bright light the phone is pretty much visible.

Performance

Samsung S10 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset which is based on 7 nm. The phone is paired with Adreno 640 GPU. The CPU has 8 cores ( 1×2.84 GHz kryo 485,3×2.42 GHz kryo 485, 4×1.78 GHz kryo 485). It has a AnTuTu benchmark score of 464408 and geek bench score of 529 in single core and 2420 in multi core. The Phone handles multitasking smoothly and there was no lag or stutter during my usage. The frame was constant in games like Pubg. The phone was slightly warm after playing Pubg continuously for some time. Samsung S10 Lite comes with a indisplay fingerprint scanner which works accurately and is pretty fast.

Battery Life

Samsung S10 Lite has a battery capacity of 4500 Mah and it last over a day and half. The charger provided inside the box is a 25W fast charger and it charges the phone from 0 to 100 in an hour.

Camera

Samsung too has gone with a triple camera setup. primary sensor of same 48MP f/2.0 aperture paired with 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens and a 5MP f/2.4 dedicated macro lens. S10 lite lacks in Telephoto lens and dedicated depth sensor. Samsung in its launch went told that this phone would provide pro-grade camera experience, without any doubt S10 lite is best camera phone samsung has created. The primary sensor capture some stunning shots during day light and also performs really well in low light too.The wide angle and macro lens perform quite well during bright light. It could shoot 4k video’s in 60 fps with the back camera. The front camera is 32MP f/2.2 sensor. Takes briliant photos in both day and night. Front camera could shoot at 1080 p in 30 fps max.

Now let’s take a look at the Con’ so the Device.

CON’S

No headphone jack

Samsung S10 Lite doesn’t have the 3.5 mm headphone jack and Samsung opt out for it in order to reduce the cost of production.

No IP rating

There is no IP rating for Samsung S10 lite. So you don’t know whether the phone is dust and water proof. Also there is no mention of the protection used to the front of the screen.

Glasstic back

Samsung S10 Lite has a glasstic back which is very slippery, fingerprint magnetic and also easily scratchable. I would recommend you to use a back protection case with the device.

Poor low light Videography

The Phone doesn’t have a good video quality when shooting under low light. There are lot of grains and the video Stabilization is also not upto the mark.

Conclusion

Samsung has provided a decent value for money smartphone which will give tough competition to other phones in this price range. If you wanted to get a flagship level experience of Samsung phone at cheaper price the you can buy this phone.
